Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences
Online Preparedness Education Program
The library consists of two components: the reference section and the field guide. The reference section consists of peer-reviewed articles, textbook chapters, technical reports, and other materials. Some of these references have been used to develop the educational material used in this program. Others contain related material. Most references can be accessed through a link to the article; others are available only in hard copy.

The field guide is intended to provide a readily available summary of essential clinical management and administrative material that can be copied and used in an incident. The information will enable providers and managers to begin their response promptly, without having to refer to more comprehensive references. Simply clicking on the particular field guide will open that particular file. Generic names have been used and doses of medical countermeasures have been referenced to current recommendations. However, providers are advised to refer to manufacturer's guidance because dosing recommendations do change over time and in specified circumstances.
